Blog of the Grateful Bear

ramblings of a freelance panentheist {"all things are in God, and God is in all things"} . . . musings on Emergent spirituality, powerlifting, LGBTQueer issues, contemplative prayer, mysticism, cats, music, healing, and more. I like my coffee and my existentialism dark-roasted.

Yes. I hope he takes his prayer into his own heart.... maybe he already has?

I participated in prayer with Rev. Warren as he led, and was blessed by doing so.

I know that many liberal people are angry at Warren for his support of Proposition 8, which I, of course, strongly disagreed agreed with. But a person is not their beliefs nor their actions. It's time for "liberals" to actually be liberal in the fullness of that word, open-handed, open-minded, tolerant, generous, forgiving.

We need to manifest the same kindness of heart to all as we would like from all. Sounds familiar, huh? Wonder who said that? Could it be ... Jesus?
