Newsweek has uncovered the Pentagon’s plans for "The Salvador Option"—creating counter-insurgency groups in Iraq modeled after the notorious Salvadoran Death Squads funded by the Reagan administration.

Oh groan! Not more contras? But wait. I guess right wing talk radio thought that whole period a major success! What with Bush's "mandate," why not unleash middle eastern contras so we can "enjoy" success again.
